Who We Are

Alisha Kashyap
Alisha Kashyap’s passion for skincare began at a young age when she developed her first skincare routine, consisting of washing her face and applying lotion. Growing up, her older sister’s struggles with acne gave her a firsthand view of the profound impact skin health can have on confidence. Spending time in dermatology offices with her sister inspired Alisha to pursue a career where she could make a difference in the lives of others.

Alisha holds an MPH in Community Health Practice and is a medical student at McGovern Medical School, dedicated to becoming a pediatric dermatologist to help children build confidence through healthy skin. She has been a long-time volunteer at Camp Discovery, where she connects deeply with kids navigating skin conditions. This book is inspired by one of her campers, Lily—a young girl with ichthyosis whom Alisha shares a special bond with.

Alisha also collaborates closely with Dr. Bree through Made A Masterpiece. Since her first year of medical school, she has developed online modules and worksheets, volunteered at MAM events, fundraised for Camp Dermadillo, and co-authored this book with Dr. Bree.

Outside of school, Alisha is a certified yoga instructor and an avid reader. She cherishes spending time with her family, including her parents and two older sisters—both of whom are also in medical careers.
